More expectation on you
More responsibilities
First to set example
First to be blamed
First to decide
First to disappoint
Whatever it is

the unpleasant journey..the uninvited gift

i look to the back
a road filled with thorns and thistles
no, i don't want to backtrack
i look ahead
it's too far, beyond reach

my feeble feet
they are too heavy to carry on
weariness overcomes me
darkness illuding me

the uninvited gift of pain

yet the safest place
where i taste Your familiar touch again

no utterance of words
if there is one

I used to like taking a stroll in the park alone.
Watching at the live scene around.
Everyone was busy with their own activities.
At times, I'd see some familiar faces pass by the same track again n again.

Your presence paints another scene at the park.
Everything seems like a trail of motion blur.
Even in the noises, I can hear a new melody in my heart.
More than a stroll, it's a journey of walking together.

Miracle!!

24 hrs prayer chain for baby Sierra, Peter and Jenny's daughter began on the 7th July. She was having severe epilepsy sysdrome, causing her to have infantile spasm & irregular impulses in her brain. Because of such condition, she had to endure high dose steroid and vitamin, known for strong side effects. Baby Sierra is just a few months old.

The parents started praying and fasting for baby's dear life. The church joined in prayer. Some of us went to be with them and worship God and prayed together. It was very encouraging for the parents and for us too. It was not easy for the parents to watch the child suffer. I was very encouraged and touched to see Peter and Jenny put their trust in the Lord.

On the 2nd Aug, baby Sierra went for MRI brain scan. This is the sms i got from Pat regarding baby Sierra that day:

"MIRACLE!!! Sierra just came out from MRI n d result shows her brain is.....(suspense..) NORMAL!! Praise the Lord! When Jesus performed miracles, many were added to the kingdom!"

my heart leaped with amazement n all i could utter in my mouth was Praise the Lord! Thank God for healing baby Sierra. This is the first healing miracle i've witnessed. It really encourages me.
